Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote, VA

What you will do

• Design cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines while balancing cost, reliability, and efficiency.
• Build cloud infrastructure, reusable libraries, modules, and packages that improve developer experience.
• Develop CI/CD processes and automated application testing and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
• Integrate quality, security vulnerability, and static analysis controls into delivery tooling.
• Collaborate with government partners and application teams to meet security, SLA, and performance requirements.
• Mentor engineers, present technical designs, and contribute to DevOps and software engineering strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Expert-level knowledge of at least one infrastructure-as-code tool, such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Expertise in DevOps fundamentals including software installation, virtualization, containerization, and networking.
• Experience designing cloud infrastructure and pipelines with minimal oversight.
• Must be based in VA for this remote position.
