CNC Mill Unit Supervisor, 3rd Shift (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Supervise, schedule, train, develop, and motivate CNC machine operators.
• Execute production schedules for high-volume machined components and allocate resources.
• Follow up on setups, review production status, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure quality and delivery targets.
• Operate CNC milling equipment while overseeing other operators, including safely loading and unloading materials.
• Set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment; edit G-code programs and manage tool wear offsets.
• Drive process improvements that reduce setup and machining time and resolve production bottlenecks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of machining experience, including 3 or more years setting up CNC Mill/Turn or CNC Mill equipment.
• Proficiency with FANUC, HAAS, or Mazak controls and the ability to interpret and edit G-code.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, first-piece inspection, gages, measuring instruments, inserts, fixtures, and tooling.
• Experience training, developing, disciplining, reviewing, and motivating employees, with strong planning, supervision, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office; ability to follow ISO, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
