What you will do

• Lead, coach, and support CNC programmers and machining support team members.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for mills, lathes, and DMG MORI equipment.
• Review programs to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with internal standards.
• Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, fixtures, and dimensional accuracy.
• Drive process improvements to reduce scrap, improve cycle times, and increase throughput.
• Partner with Quality to resolve nonconformances and conduct root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming, machining, or manufacturing engineering support experience.
• Experience programming CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment using CAM software.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tooling, workholding, and inspection methods.
• Prior experience leading or supervising technical employees.

Nice to have

• Experience with DMG MORI equipment, Swiss machining, or mill-turn.
• Industry experience in medical devices, aerospace, or automotive precision manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Esprit, NX, or SolidWorks.
• Experience with Oracle ERP and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Expertise in machining titanium, cobalt chrome, or stainless steel.
