Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: Utah, United States — hybrid with regular in-office days each week

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional technical programs from intake and planning through implementation and post-launch review.
• Run alignment workshops, resolve competing priorities, and manage cross-team dependencies and critical-path risks.
• Translate portfolio decisions into roadmaps, schedules, resource plans, and initiative sequencing.
• Coordinate technology intake, evaluation, operational readiness, and software introduction or retirement.
• Sequence business-process design, workflow design, and requirements-engineering activities around program timelines.
• Report on program status, milestones, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes to working teams and executives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives across multiple teams or departments.
• 5+ years working with formal software development or delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or SAFe.
• Experience translating strategy into executable plans and completing complex initiatives without direct authority.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder-management, communication, risk-management, dependency-management, and escalation skills.
• Proficiency with program-management tools such as Jira, Wrike, or comparable platforms; employment requires passing background and credit checks.

Nice to have

• PMP, PgMP, or a similar program or project management certification.
• Experience with technology governance, software lifecycle management, portfolio management, or operational readiness.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI into program-management or business-process workflows.
• Experience measuring program success through business outcomes and organizational value.
