CAD Engineer Associate (Winter 2027) (Aerospace)

Location: San Francisco, United States. U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status is required to comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations.

Salary: $1,925 per week.

What you will do

• Model and draw spacecraft components, structures, and manifolds.
• Design supporting spacecraft structures.
• Maintain and improve the design library and data infrastructure.
• Develop and document practices that enable efficient design.

Requirements

• Hold a four-year B.S. degree or currently pursue an M.S. in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, applied mathematics, industrial design, or an equivalent technical field.
• Demonstrate a passion for hardware development and hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SolidWorks.
• Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Meet the U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected individual requirement.

Nice to have

• Experience designing complex assemblies and components.
• Experience designing spaceflight components or vacuum-compatible systems.
• Experience with surface modeling.
