What you will do

• Review and verify engineering drawings, models, and documentation against ASME Y14.5 GD&T and ASME Y14 drafting standards.
• Identify and document errors and inconsistencies in design data, providing feedback to design engineers for correction.
• Validate the accuracy of CAD models and associated metadata before release to ensure producibility and manufacturability.
• Support drawing release processes within PLM systems such as Teamcenter, Windchill, or Enovia.
• Coordinate with the Configuration Management team regarding change notices, effectivity, and configuration control.
• Participate in tolerance stack-up and interface checks to ensure fit, form, and function integrity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in producing or checking engineering drawings in aerospace, automotive, or complex product environments.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as NX, CATIA, or CREO for validating models and drawings.
• Strong expertise in ASME Y14.5 GD&T and ASME Y14 drafting standards.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems like Teamcenter, Windchill, or Enovia.
• Must be located in San Jose, California.
