Financial Data and Analytics Consultant (Power BI)

Location: United States; principally in-person Workplace for Your Day model with flexibility determined with the supervisor and team. The role supports offices across Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and support financial and firm-wide data from multiple financial systems.
• Troubleshoot and enhance published reports and create reporting solutions in Workday, Power BI, and Adaptive Planning.
• Intake reporting requests and identify suitable data sources and solutions.
• Run assigned and ad hoc data requests, analysis, cleansing, and investigation.
• Use SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI, Excel, Alteryx, and internal applications to transform and analyze data.
• Review and improve business processes using Microsoft Power Apps while communicating across functions to turn requests into deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of financial reporting experience, including report writing.
• Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to understand internal processes and terminology and communicate across functions.
• Experience collaborating on or leading projects.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Database familiarity.
• Advanced Excel and VBA skills.
• Accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis experience.
• Workday experience.
