Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst (Finance)

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; onsite at the Milpitas office

Salary: USD 126,300–214,700 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profit margins, forecasting metrics, and other financial data.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract data from financial databases.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with finance teams.
• Automate recurring financial reports and improve reporting processes.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and leadership teams to deliver actionable insights while maintaining data accuracy and governance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, financial analysis, data analytics, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Engineering, analytics, or an equivalent field.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial modeling.
• Experience working with databases and querying data using SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or R.
• Knowledge of revenue, expense, and profitability forecasting models.
• Experience with data warehouses and ETL processes.
• Strong communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.
