2027 New College Grad - Process Engineer III - Doctorate (Winter 2026 Start) (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Onsite process engineering role with approximately 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $124,000–$171,000 per year

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and report data from process engineering experiments.
• Perform hardware characterization on semiconductor process systems.
• Troubleshoot process issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and help resolve engineering problems.
• Measure film properties and organize technical data and reports.
• Create product documentation, presentations, and technical reports.
• Engage with customers, vendors, suppliers, and R&D teams while supporting new technologies, products, and analytical instrumentation.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with one or more semiconductor processes, including CVD, ALD, PVD, etch, or epitaxy.
• Experience with materials characterization techniques such as FTIR, XPS, or XRD.
• Availability to work in Santa Clara, California, United States and travel approximately 10% of the time.
• Full-time availability for the Winter 2026 start period, from November 2026 through February 2027.
