Network Engineer

Location: Bloomington, Illinois, United States; hybrid. Assigned shifts must fall within the 7 AM–7 PM EST window.

What you will do

• Conduct pre-migration consultations and explain the ACI migration process and office network readiness requirements.
• Provide Tier 2 troubleshooting for VPN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, routers, switches, and ISP-related issues.
• Collect office network and topology information during live consultation calls.
• Own ServiceNow cases from intake through resolution or appropriate handoff.
• Provide proactive consultations for complex or larger offices.
• Develop SOPs and knowledge articles and support Help Desk enablement as responsibilities expand.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN concepts.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic Windows networking and guide users through configuration steps.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service orientation.
• Experience with an ITSM or ticketing platform.
• Flexibility to work any assigned shift between 7 AM and 7 PM EST.
