Network Engineer III

Location: United States; on-site support and overnight travel may be required for projects and installations.

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade network hardware, software, routers, switches, VPNs, and related systems.
• Monitor network performance, investigate faults, troubleshoot issues, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Create firewall rules and maintain security systems that protect company data and communications.
• Design and implement new network solutions and improve the efficiency of existing networks.
• Implement disaster recovery procedures, arrange scheduled upgrades, and update equipment firmware.
• Coach and review team members, participate in an on-call rotation, and provide on-site project support with overnight travel as needed.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting computer networks and communications systems.
• Knowledge of routers, switches, VPNs, network hardware, software, and firewall configuration.
• Understanding of network security best practices and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ability to support on-site installations, participate in an on-call rotation, and travel overnight.
• Professional and ethical communication with employees, management, and other stakeholders.
