Distribution Center Transportation Dispatch (Logistics)

What you will do

• Coordinate daily route planning, staffing, and load balancing activities.
• Ensure all vehicles, drivers, and processes meet OSHA and DOT requirements.
• Manage the complete and accurate loading process and manifest integrity for all outbound deliveries.
• Schedule deliveries and dispatch drivers based on customer requirements via various media channels.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, building safety, and security of assets.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure manifests are properly closed.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a similar dispatch role or experience working in a Distribution Center/Warehouse.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Distribution Center/Warehouse principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment (ladders, forklifts, pallet jacks).
