Warehouse Associate/Branch Driver I

Location: Onsite in Yakima, Washington, USA

Salary: $19.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and other permitted considerations. Additional bonus plan may apply.

Rexel USA distributes electrical, data communication, wireless communication, and related supplies through a nationwide warehouse and branch network.

What you will do

• Receive, verify, stock, pick, stage, pack, and ship warehouse materials.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, wire-cutting machines, delivery vans, and box trucks as required; no CDL is required.
• Deliver products to customers, company branches, warehouses, and suppliers, including loading and unloading materials.
• Complete shipment and delivery documentation, inspect materials for damage, and process customer returns.
• Perform inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and inspect and maintain warehouse equipment and company vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures, DOT requirements, local and state driving laws, and assigned routes and schedules.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and minimum age of 21 required.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual Motor Vehicle Record reviews.
• Must obtain verification of a valid medical certificate within 30 days of hire when required by law.
• No prior experience is required; warehouse experience and warehouse-equipment certification are preferred.
• Basic computer, communication, organization, time-management, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to handle loads up to 26,000 GVW, work overtime as needed, and perform physically demanding warehouse duties.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• General knowledge of electrical products.
• Certification to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.
