Focus on coordinating dock operations, resolving operational issues, supporting training, and maintaining efficient second-shift distribution processes.
Location: Onsite in Groveport, Ohio, United States. Monday–Friday, second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with overtime at the end of the shift if necessary.

What you will do
- Coordinate daily warehouse workflow, employee assignments, product movement, staging, and order flow under the Distribution Center Supervisor’s guidance.
- Coordinate truck arrivals, dock assignments, shipping activity, and daily inventory counts.
- Monitor product identification, organization, separation, quality, and inventory standards.
- Support team members by answering questions, solving work-related problems, reviewing quality, and assisting with training.
- Communicate shipping status, operational issues, safety concerns, and equipment problems to the Supervisor and Maintenance personnel.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and support department operations when the Supervisor is absent.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse, distribution, logistics, or related experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, product flow, inventory handling, and assigned-area procedures.
- Ability to safely operate or learn warehouse equipment and use warehouse systems, RF scanners, or similar technology.
- Ability to identify products, parts, labels, packaging requirements, and quality standards, and complete operational records accurately.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, follow-up, safety, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the distribution floor, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds while wearing required personal protective equipment.
Nice to have
- Lead, trainer, coordinator, or informal leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with shipping, dock operations, staging, small parcel, LTL, or outbound order flow.
- Experience with ERP/WMS platforms, SAP, or similar warehouse technology.
- Experience training or coaching employees on standard work, safety, quality, and productivity.
