Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Must live close to one of hirify.global’s designated U.S. IT locations: New York, Louisville, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Dallas/Frisco, Boston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, or Charlotte.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design and build user experiences with TypeScript, React, and Next.js for care team members and patients.
• Render LLM-generated content, structured summaries, and clinical recommendations in intuitive and trustworthy interface patterns.
• Deliver end-to-end features covering server-side rendering, API integration, client-side state management, and production deployment.
• Contribute to shared component libraries and maintain consistency across the design system.
• Build accessible interfaces aligned with WCAG standards and the needs of clinical users and patients with varying digital literacy.
• Apply HIPAA-compliant practices to sensitive data display, client-side logging, and session handling, while collaborating in code, architecture, and design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong frontend depth.
• Expert-level TypeScript and React skills, with hands-on Next.js experience including App Router, SSR/SSG patterns, and server components.
• Ability to build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs and independently deliver full-stack features.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards, sensitive data handling, and high-quality interface implementation.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and LLM coding harnesses such as Claude Code, Pi Agent, Cursor, or Codex.

Nice to have

• Experience building clinical or healthcare-facing applications.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM output rendering, including streaming responses, citations, uncertainty display, and structured clinical outputs.
• Experience working with product designers in a design-system-driven workflow.
• Exposure to Python or backend service development.
• Experience in greenfield or early-stage product engineering environments.
