Senior Software Engineer - .NET - HYBRID

Location: Hybrid in Richardson, Texas, United States

Annual salary: $100,000–$215,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications with React frontends, .NET or Java backend services, and SQL or NoSQL data stores.
• Make architectural decisions, establish engineering standards, and deliver complex business-critical initiatives.
• Build cloud-native solutions using managed services, event-driven architectures, infrastructure automation, and scalable deployment patterns.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices, and implement monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and reliability controls.
• Use AI-powered development tools and automation to improve delivery speed, code quality, testing, security, and documentation.
• Lead design sessions and code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and improve developer productivity through reusable platforms and self-service tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• 4+ years of experience with .NET, Java, ASP.NET Core, Spring Boot, or similar backend technologies.
• Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Redux, Hooks, TypeScript, and responsive or adaptive design.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, microservices, and structured data formats including JSON, XML, and YAML.
• Experience designing and operating cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP, including observability, latency, fallback handling, and cost awareness.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices.
• Experience with Python, Go, PowerShell, or similar programming and scripting languages.
