TL;DR
Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (Fintech): Leading finance for Colombia and Panama through budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, debt-facility distributions, and KPI reporting with an accent on financial controls, market regulation, and reconciliation between Local GAAP and US GAAP. Focus on building top-down and bottom-up models, evaluating partnership opportunities, validating taxes, and reconciling merchant payments with accounting.
Location: Bogotá, Colombia; hybrid

What you will do
- Lead finance activities for Colombia and Panama, reporting to the Finance Director of Latam.
- Develop top-down and bottom-up financial models for budgeting, forecasting, company health analysis, and pricing evaluation.
- Prepare KPI reporting and local dashboards, including monthly budget-versus-actuals analysis of operating and non-operating cash flows.
- Model partnership opportunities with regional leadership and support company-wide budgeting.
- Calculate principal and interest distributions across multiple debt facilities and support debt-investor servicing.
- Work with accounting on GAAP reconciliation, audits, tax validation, and merchant payment reconciliation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in finance roles.
- Experience with Colombian and Panamanian markets and regulations.
- Excellent Excel financial-modeling skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional English proficiency is mandatory.
- Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and stakeholder relationship skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in Colombian fintech or banking.
- CFA, CPA, Master’s in Finance, or MBA.
- Google Sheets, NetSuite, or PBCS/Hyperion experience.
- Experience at a leading consultancy, financial institution, or fintech.
