Implementation Consultant (Payments)

Location: Portsmouth, NH, United States; hybrid schedule with two days per month in the Portsmouth office.

What you will do

• Manage customer implementation projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation through implementation.
• Create and maintain project plans covering scope, timelines, budget, quality, milestones, and financial reporting.
• Analyze client requirements and implement appropriate payment portal solutions.
• Coordinate clients and cross-functional internal teams, including project reviews and customer communications.
• Document client processes and configurations, plan customer training, and prepare handovers to Support.
• Identify project risks, coordinate corrective actions, manage changes, and generate additional charges where appropriate.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in a project role within payments, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fintech, or software.
• Experience with customer-facing work, stakeholder management, and relationship building up to senior, executive, or board level.
• Strong project planning, organization, prioritization, and change management skills; knowledge of frameworks such as PRINCE2 or Six Sigma.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, commercial awareness, and revenue-management skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time and permanently for any employer without restriction.
