Project Manager Sr. Lead (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, high-visibility client projects in payments professional services.
• Manage initiatives ranging from 500 to 4,000 project hours and budgets from $100K to $1M.
• Define scope, timelines, resources, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams of 5 to 15+ members and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, business leaders, and executives.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies while monitoring performance, issues, and outcomes.
• Drive process improvements, delivery best practices, team mentoring, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience managing complex technology projects in financial services, fintech, or similar industries.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects with defined budgets, timelines, and risk management requirements.
• Strong knowledge of PMBOK, Agile/Scrum, and Waterfall project management frameworks.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Advanced project planning, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills; familiarity with Microsoft Project, Planview, and risk management platforms.

• Experience leading custom code deployment projects in fintech environments.
• Professional services or client-facing project delivery experience.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, or related project management certification.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
