Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote across North America; positions are also available in the San Francisco office.

What you will do

• Define how the platform is deployed, validated, measured, documented, and scaled in customer environments.
• Build the processes, metrics, training, playbooks, templates, and frameworks for the Forward Deployed Engineering function.
• Embed with design partners and early customers to lead deployments across Insider Risk, DLP, SAT, AV/EDR, Security for AI, and emerging modules.
• Configure, iterate, and troubleshoot deployments to accelerate customer time-to-value.
• Translate customer workflows, user behavior, and threat patterns into repeatable deployment models and product improvements.
• Work with product, engineering, and security research teams to validate detection and prevention approaches.

Requirements

• Experience in forward-deployed engineering, CXE, solutions engineering, customer delivery, or a similar role in cybersecurity or infrastructure.
• Strong technical foundation in endpoint, systems, security, or an adjacent field.
• Experience working directly with customers in ambiguous, high-impact environments.
• Product intuition and the ability to assess usability, value, and adoption.
• Builder mindset with the ability to create structure, processes, and scalable programs from the ground up.
• Ability to move between technical depth, customer engagement, security research, and strategic thinking.
