Enterprise Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $130,600–$192,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential equity grants

What you will do

• Implement and tune security controls including phishing-resistant MFA, conditional access, device trust, and SaaS posture management.
• Operate EDR/XDR, zero-trust network access, identity-aware proxy, browser security, and DLP tooling.
• Build AI-assisted automation for security workflows, incident response, and compliance evidence collection.
• Address shadow IT, OAuth token sprawl, and high-risk application reviews with IT and third-party risk teams.
• Help establish secure-by-default baselines across employee systems and corporate software.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in security engineering, enterprise security, IT security, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience administering identity providers such as Okta and Google Workspace.
• Working knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and FIDO2/WebAuthn.
• Experience operating EDR/XDR platforms and securing macOS, Windows, and Linux endpoints through MDM.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS or GCP.
• Ability to write production-quality automation scripts in Python or Go and communicate clearly in writing.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Tailscale, Google IAP, GitHub Enterprise controls, Palo Alto Cortex, or Chrome Enterprise.
• Experience with SSPM, CASB, OAuth-scope governance, DLP, Terraform, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 audits.
• Security community contributions or relevant certifications such as CISSP Associate or GIAC.
