Operations & Safety Specialist (Electrical Distribution)

Location: Onsite in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, United States; Gexpro team located in Milwaukee, WI. Work hours are 7:30am–4:30pm.

What you will do

• Monitor operational processes for accuracy, timeliness, policy compliance, and regulatory compliance.
• Support order fulfillment, sales operations, inventory surveillance, cycle counting, warehouse management, and material management.
• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement while supporting branch sales and margin objectives.
• Ensure environmental, health, and safety protocols are followed.
• Manage branch expenses, facility maintenance, equipment, vehicles, and leases.
• Resolve customer claims, support supplier relationships, train branch and warehouse staff, and participate in branch meetings.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of business operations experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of the electrical distribution industry, including customers, suppliers, competitors, and market conditions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to negotiate contracts, prioritize workload, and identify process and productivity improvements.

Nice to have

• Experience in the electrical distribution industry.
• Four-year bachelor's degree.
