SkillBridge: Production Control Warehouse Specialist

Location: North Kingstown, Rhode Island, USA. Onsite work in an active warehouse and production environment; candidates must be within a commutable distance or willing and approved to relocate to the job location.

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, verify, and store incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
• Build and stage kits from bills of material and work orders, delivering them to assembly stations on schedule.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Maintain lot and serial traceability for flight-critical and export-controlled hardware.
• Support production-control stand-ups with shortage and work-in-progress status while keeping warehouse areas organized and audit-ready.

Requirements

• Warehouse, inventory, or material-handling experience in manufacturing, aerospace, marine, or DoD logistics.
• Working knowledge of ERP/WMS inventory transactions, Excel, and RF scanning tools.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain it quickly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in an active shop-floor environment.
• Eligibility as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR is required.
• SkillBridge eligibility requires projected honorable military discharge, completed TAP and transition requirements, and approval from the Unit Commander or an O4+ chain-of-command member.

Nice to have

• Aerospace, marine, or defense manufacturing experience.
• Lean, 5S, or continuous-improvement experience.
