Predictive Research Analyst (Operations Research): Conducting mission-level combat modeling and simulation studies to assess military utility, feasibility, and joint warfighter impacts with an accent on quantitative analysis, defense modeling, and space-domain applications. Focus on integrating and analyzing data, learning campaign-level models, and translating complex analytical results into recommendations for senior decision makers.

What you will do
- Conduct mission-level combat modeling and simulation studies.
- Assess the military utility, feasibility, and joint warfighter impacts of concepts and capabilities.
- Develop recommendations based on studies and analytical findings.
- Coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify problems and clarify objectives.
- Collaborate with government staff and contractor teams across multiple disciplines.
Requirements
- Masterβs degree in operations research or a theoretical science field.
- Active Top Secret with SCI security clearance required.
- 10+ years of directly applicable experience.
- Experience conducting modeling and simulation analyses.
- Willingness to learn and use campaign-level or defense enterprise-level models.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, teamwork, creativity, and flexibility skills.
Nice to have
- PhD in operations research or a theoretical science field.
- Experience with DoD space and joint force programs.
- Experience with AFSIM, SEAS, STORM, or related models.
- Experience with Java, MATLAB, R, SAS, JMP, Python, SQL, MySQL, BI tools, or Excel VBA.
- Experience with data transformation and visualization.
