Predictive Research Analyst (Operations Research)

Location: On-site in Beavercreek Township, Ohio, near Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton

What you will do

• Conduct mission-level combat modeling and simulation studies.
• Assess the military utility, feasibility, and joint warfighter impacts of concepts and capabilities.
• Develop recommendations based on studies and analytical findings.
• Coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify problems and clarify objectives.
• Collaborate with government staff and contractor teams across multiple disciplines.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in operations research or a theoretical science field.
• Active Top Secret with SCI security clearance required.
• 10+ years of directly applicable experience.
• Experience conducting modeling and simulation analyses.
• Willingness to learn and use campaign-level or defense enterprise-level models.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, teamwork, creativity, and flexibility skills.

Nice to have

• PhD in operations research or a theoretical science field.
• Experience with DoD space and joint force programs.
• Experience with AFSIM, SEAS, STORM, or related models.
• Experience with Java, MATLAB, R, SAS, JMP, Python, SQL, MySQL, BI tools, or Excel VBA.
• Experience with data transformation and visualization.
