What you will do

  • Construct, modify, and conduct statistical and analytical investigations using mathematical and computer simulation models for Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations.
  • Define and apply advanced approaches to computational electromagnetic modeling, atmospheric modeling, swarming algorithms, and data/signal processing.
  • Research state-of-the-art tools for modeling, simulation, and statistical investigations.
  • Conduct academic and industry technical reviews and develop models and algorithms.
  • Apply machine learning and advanced data analytics to mission engineering objectives and large signal datasets.

Requirements

  • Active DoD SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • 10+ years of experience in a life or physical science discipline.
  • Experience constructing, modifying, and investigating mathematical or computer simulation models, including computational electromagnetic modeling.

Nice to have

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master’s or doctorate degree.
  • Experience with computational EM tools, atmospheric propagation modeling such as ITU-R and TIREM, and Python-based analytics.
  • Applied machine learning or data-mining experience with large signal datasets.
  • EMSO, electronic warfare, or Navy operations research experience.
