Freelance In-Person Event Host in Boston, MA

Location: On-site in Boston, Massachusetts, United States; open only to candidates already based in Boston, MA. No relocation package is offered.

What you will do

• Host engaging team-building, social impact activities and in-person events that support charitable causes.
• Welcome, engage and inspire event participants.
• Support nonprofit partners in facilitating on-site events.
• Keep events flowing and manage group dynamics throughout each experience.

Requirements

• Must be based in Boston, MA and available to work on a contract, per-event basis.
• Fluent English required.
• Experience facilitating groups and managing group dynamics.
• Strong public speaking, presentation and customer service skills.
• Comfort interacting with groups and individuals while maintaining high energy and engagement.
• Ability to think quickly and solve problems during live events.

Nice to have

• Background in acting, comedy, improv or a similar audience-focused profession.
• Corporate event experience and an entrepreneurial mindset.
