What you will do

• Design approaches for GPS and GNSS receiver hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Set up physical tests, perform measurements, process data, and analyze results across laboratory and field environments.
• Develop technical approaches, assess system performance and risks, and apply modeling and simulation techniques.
• Conduct research, troubleshoot communications and navigation problems, and support operations, test planning, and prediction.
• Provide technical direction for complex systems and recommend development, optimization, and improvement efforts.
• Write reports, prepare presentations and plans, and communicate findings with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience in communications or navigation, with GPS or GNSS engineering experience.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing and laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Knowledge of communications theory, navigation, electrical engineering, digital processing, or radio-frequency signals.
• Strong knowledge of Python, C++, C#, or similar programming languages, plus Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
