What you will do
- Develop tools to monitor the health, availability, and performance of the Pulsar constellation and GNSS signals in real time.
- Collaborate on and validate Precise Point Positioning (PPP) algorithms and estimation pipelines.
- Review navigation results and troubleshoot algorithm performance.
- Work alongside senior engineers to build toward ownership of navigation subsystems.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geomatics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Solid foundation in statistics and estimation theory (e.g., least squares, Kalman filtering).
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual to comply with U.S. export regulations.
Nice to have
- Prior exposure to PPP algorithms or implementations.
- Familiarity with GNSS receiver internal mechanics or signal processing chains.
- Experience with GNSS data formats like RINEX, SP3, or RTCM.
- Knowledge of orbital mechanics, reference frames, and time systems.
