Senior Staff Procurement Professional (Semiconductor)

Salary: $106,800–$160,000 per annum

What you will do

• Ensure uninterrupted material supply for new product introductions and high-volume production, including optical components.
• Monitor material shortages and supply constraints, using data to identify risks and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Develop supplier relationships and lead business reviews focused on performance, cost, and overall value.
• Execute purchase orders and coordinate with contract manufacturers to meet demand and delivery commitments.
• Drive cost reductions through volume leverage, process improvements, and supplier negotiations.
• Monitor market trends and support additional procurement projects as business needs evolve.

Requirements

• 5+ years of procurement experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Direct experience managing optics or optical technology suppliers, including supplier qualification, contract negotiation, and capacity planning.
• Strong understanding of optics manufacturing processes and capacity planning.
• Experience managing global suppliers; APAC experience is preferred.
• Experience supporting high-volume ramps for CPO, NPO, optical modules, and new product introductions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
