Account Manager Fab Equipment Sourcing (Semiconductors)

Location: On-site presence required in Hillsboro, Oregon or Phoenix, Arizona

Salary: $180,140.00 - 254,320.00 USD

What you will do

• Own the strategic and operational relationship with top-tier semiconductor equipment suppliers.
• Lead commercial negotiations regarding pricing, terms, lead times, and long-term supply arrangements.
• Align technology and capacity roadmaps with Process/Manufacturing Engineering and suppliers.
• Define and track supplier performance using KPIs such as OTD, cycle time, and quality/defect rates.
• Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) initiatives, including capex optimization and spares strategies.
• Orchestrate internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, and Operations to resolve issues and land decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, or procurement, preferably in high-tech manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and negotiate commercial terms.
• Strong understanding of capital equipment lifecycles and manufacturing processes.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Hillsboro, OR or Phoenix, AZ.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration (MBA).
• Direct experience with semiconductor fab equipment (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, metrology).
• Proven track record in cost reduction programs and supply continuity strategies.
• Familiarity with equipment qualification processes and capital project planning in fabs.
