Senior Specialist - Quality Engineering (Data Test Automation)

Location: Remote in Mexico

Salary: Up to MXN 90,000 monthly gross

What you will do

• Automate data testing using Python and Pytest.
• Validate data extraction, transformation logic, and loading into target tables.
• Design test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements and QA best practices.
• Test web and desktop applications and investigate defects through debugging and troubleshooting.
• Present test status and communicate issues and risks to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, management, and other disciplines while guiding team members on quality issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data test automation using Python with Pytest.
• Experience working in a DevOps environment with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or equivalent.
• Experience with source code management tools including Git, Bitbucket, Perforce, or equivalent.
• Strong programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, software development life cycle, application design, and business requirements.
• Experience testing web and desktop applications.
