Automation QA Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories.
• Design and maintain scalable, efficient automated test scripts for web applications, mobile applications, and RESTful APIs.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous feedback on code changes.
• Execute automated runs, analyze results, and log detailed defect reports with reproducible steps.
• Track and present quality metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and build pass rates.
• Collaborate with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment to debug issues early in the SDLC.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automated testing.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#.
• Solid understanding of Page Object Model, test architecture, and assertions.
• Hands-on experience testing REST/SOAP APIs and validating payload structures.
• Familiarity with DOM manipulation, CSS selectors, and XPath.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Performance, Load, or Security testing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Docker and continuous delivery environments.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
• ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer certification.
