Senior QA Automation Engineer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal, with a hybrid work model; candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks.
• Conduct automation studies, ROI analyses, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Execute automated test campaigns, generate reports, and analyze results.
• Apply Test-Driven Development and Model-Based Testing approaches.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Collaborate through Git and GitLab in an international quality-focused team.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in QA automation, including proof-of-concept development, campaign execution, and reporting.
• Working-level scripting skills in Python and at least one of PowerShell, Bash, KSH, VBA, or VBS.
• Experience with SQL databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with TDD, MBT, Jenkins, and Git/GitLab.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.
• French at B1 and English at B2 are required.

Nice to have

• Java experience.
• Experience with Micro Focus UFT, SoapUI, Postman, or Robot Framework.
• ISTQB Foundation, Test Manager, or Test Analyst certification.
