Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

What you will do

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and earnings releases.
• Oversee financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, disclosure checklists, tie-outs, and XBRL tagging using Workiva and Wdata.
• Coordinate reporting inputs with business units, FP&A, Tax, Investor Relations, external auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate complex and non-routine accounting matters, perform technical research, and prepare formal accounting position memos.
• Own the accounting policy manual, monitor FASB and SEC developments, and lead implementation of relevant changes.
• Partner with the SOX team to design effective controls and advise finance leadership and business units on complex transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including strong SEC reporting and technical accounting experience.
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal control environments.
• Strong project management, analytical, organizational, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Big Four public accounting experience.
• Experience with complex project-based or percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Experience with Workiva, Oracle FCCS, XBRL, and other financial reporting tools.
