Manager SEC Reporting and Compliance

Salary: $105,000–$189,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead timely SEC filings, earnings releases, and maintenance of the SEC reporting calendar.
• Prepare and streamline monthly cash flow and working capital reporting and analysis.
• Update accounting policies and procedures and support accounting for new transactions and standards.
• Develop and execute internal controls for SEC reporting, including disclosure committee activities and certifications.
• Coordinate reporting deliverables with Investor Relations, Corporate Accounting, Legal, FP&A, auditors, and other business partners.
• Support technical assessments, special projects, process automation, and ERP implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably combining Big Four public accounting and public-company financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and SEC reporting standards, including technical research and accounting position papers.
• Experience with SEC reporting tools and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently across different time zones and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

• ERP implementation experience.
• Experience explaining complex accounting matters to executives.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current accounting trends and practices.
