Lead Senior Financial Reporting Officer

Salary: $92,869–$152,569 per year, plus potential incentive and retention awards.

What you will do

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, in compliance with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare and review benefit plan financial statements, earnings releases, and related financial communications.
• Maintain XBRL tagging for financial statements and footnotes.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews, annual external audits, and benefit plan audits with external auditors.
• Monitor accounting standards and SEC regulatory changes with the Accounting Policy team and support implementation.
• Lead SOX compliance activities, process documentation, control testing, audit requests, remediation plans, and reporting process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• At least five years of accounting experience.
• Ability to apply U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting concepts and make recommendations to management.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, accuracy, follow-through, and deadline management.
• Ability to automate or streamline processes and work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require current or future work visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or an MBA.
• Public accounting, financial services, or SEC reporting experience.
• Experience with Workiva, Oracle Financials, ERP or general ledger systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
