Product Marketing Director, Managed Business (Networking)

Location: Remote - USA; periodic travel of up to 20% may be required.

Salary: 144,000–230,400 USD annual for other US locations; 160,000–256,000 USD annual for select US metros and states; 184,000–294,400 USD annual for the San Francisco Bay Area. The role may also include a bonus.

What you will do

• Own the product story and positioning for the Managed Business portfolio, including network gateways, managed switches, Wi-Fi appliances, managed services, software, and management platforms.
• Define target segments, ideal customer profiles, personas, use cases, buying triggers, adoption barriers, and differentiated messaging.
• Run product and software launches end to end, including readiness criteria, milestones, cross-functional planning, messaging, and launch materials.
• Bring customer, partner, market, and sales feedback into product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Build sales toolkits, demo scripts, collateral, FAQs, partner enablement, and release-specific assets.
• Lead internal enablement and align Product, Sales, Support, Communications, Segment Strategy, Commercial Solutions, Partner, and Demand Generation stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technology marketing experience to or through managed service providers, VARs, systems integrators, or similar channel partner ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of managed services business models, partner-led go-to-market motions, and product marketing.
• Experience owning positioning, messaging, launch strategy, sales enablement, use-case definition, and go-to-market execution.
• Proven ability to establish credibility for a new market entrant and lead complex cross-functional launches.
• Strong understanding of the product lifecycle, including market input, concept, validation, launch readiness, release communications, and feedback loops.
• Excellent executive communication, storytelling, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Wi-Fi across multi-family housing, hospitality, venues, and other property-based segments.
• In-depth knowledge of property and enterprise Wi-Fi, networking, managed network services, and related software.
• Experience leading product advisory inputs, launch councils, sales councils, or cross-functional readiness forums.
• Experience taking new products into unfamiliar markets and adapting go-to-market processes and buyer or partner motions.
