Design Engineer (React)

What you will do

• Create a unified UI, layout, and UX paradigm for inspecting and interacting with reinforcement-learning environments.
• Build robust, performant applications for frontier laboratories and internal users.
• Develop a standard library and templates for marketing materials that follow design best practices.
• Instrument and visualize environment tracking across hundreds of discrete steps and iterations per artifact.
• Observe users interacting with software and iterate rapidly based on their feedback.

Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing a successful full-stack product.
• A portfolio demonstrating design work.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• At least 2 years of product experience.
• Ability to work in person in San Francisco.
