Focus on leading ambiguous work end to end, directing AI-native development, making architectural decisions, and improving engineering quality through mentorship and technical reviews.

hirify.global builds a cloud-based ERP platform for manufacturing job shops, including metal finishing and fabrication businesses.

What you will do

Lead the design and delivery of large, cross-cutting features from ambiguous requirements through production.
Own architecture and data model decisions for major product areas in partnership with technical leads.
Use AI-native development with Claude Code or Cursor to direct complex efforts through iterative loops and multiple agents.
Raise engineering quality through code reviews, technical design reviews, mentorship, and improvements to development practices.
Drive performance, reliability, architectural debt reduction, test planning, and workflow testing.
Monitor production features through instrumentation, operational logs, and product metrics, and collaborate with QA on testing feedback.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience leading large features or systems end to end, including key design decisions.
Strong SQL and data model design experience.
AI-native development experience and experience mentoring engineers.
Deep experience with React or a similar web application framework, plus strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

GraphQL experience.
Experience with AI looping.
ERP, manufacturing, or other complex operational software experience.
AWS, Docker, or DataDog experience.
