Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js & Vue)

Location: Primary location: Minsk, Belarus (hybrid). Remote B2B work is available in Georgia, and hybrid, onsite, or remote work is available in Belarus and Moldova.

What you will do

• Design and deliver restaurant-facing services across data models, APIs, and merchant-facing screens.
• Build kitchen display and order-lifecycle interfaces used by restaurant staff during busy service periods.
• Extend and harden production services while preserving reliability and safe releases at scale.
• Implement transactional integrity, concurrency controls, offline-capable clients, synchronization, queues, background jobs, and event-driven flows.
• Collaborate directly with product managers and designers to shape product decisions.
• Provide technical direction, code reviews, and architectural guidance to other engineers.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience building full-stack products, including senior ownership of engineering work.
• Deep production experience with Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with Redis or MongoDB, caching and invalidation, queues or streaming systems, and real-time interfaces using WebSockets, ideally Socket.IO.
• Frontend experience with Vue or comparable component architecture, state management, and progressive web applications; experience with React or Angular is also applicable.
• Experience deploying horizontally scalable services, debugging production failures, and working with Linux, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required for daily communication with teams in the United States and Israel.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kinesis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, BullMQ, or similar systems.
• Experience with Socket.IO and offline-first restaurant or retail workflows.
• Experience working with PHP codebases.
