Manager, Finance

Location: Hybrid onsite at one of six Southeast US distribution centers, at least three days per week, with approximately 25% annual regional travel: Cullman, AL; Midway, TN; Fort Pierce, FL; Hopkinsville, KY; LaGrange, GA; or Shelby, NC.

Salary: $80,000–$155,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Own weekly labor optimization planning for assigned regional distribution centers.
• Develop staffing and productivity plans aligned with forecasted demand.
• Analyze performance against plans, identify variance root causes, and communicate recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with Operations, HR, Engineering, Analytics, and Technology to improve labor productivity and optimize variable costs.
• Drive adoption and change management as labor optimization becomes part of operational and financial processes.
• Automate manual processes and build scalable reporting and decision-support tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus two years of relevant experience, or four years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to turn complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Strong cross-functional partnership, influencing, communication, and leadership skills.
• Comfort working directly in a distribution center environment and learning operational processes and labor drivers.

Nice to have

• Experience with BigQuery, Python, Visual Studio Code, and AI tools for analytics and automation.
• Experience analyzing data, interpreting results, using Microsoft Office, or supervising others.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration.
