Software Engineer II, Synthesis (C/C++)

Annual salary: $101,500–$188,500, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and support Genus Synthesis Solution software.
• Develop technologies for logic synthesis and physical design with a distributed development team.
• Contribute to logic synthesis, word-level synthesis, static timing analysis, computer architecture, verification, and RTL compilation.
• Work on placement, power analysis, routing, extraction, and optimization solutions.
• Participate in large-scale software development initiatives, including timing analysis projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution quality and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++.
• Excellent programming and software engineering skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, learning, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with UNIX and/or Linux platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Tcl.
• Experience with multithreaded or distributed programming.
• Experience with large-scale software development projects and timing analysis software.
