Metrology Logistic Coordinator (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; onsite work with required driving for equipment pickup and delivery

What you will do

• Coordinate the receipt, shipment, tracking, calibration, and return of metrology equipment.
• Perform calibration and certification of basic electronic and physical/dimensional measuring and test equipment with traceability to NIST.
• Pick up and deliver measurement equipment between customer locations, laboratories, and vendors.
• Verify, document, package, label, and enter equipment into tracking systems.
• Maintain real-time asset status, location, and turnaround information in systems such as IndySoft and MetTeam.
• Communicate equipment status and delivery timelines with customers, technicians, vendors, and program management while improving logistics efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 or more years of logistics or coordination experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to perform required driving, lifting, and equipment transport duties.
• Experience with equipment tracking systems such as SAP, IndySoft, MetTeam, or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and established work instructions.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of logistics experience in technical or metrology environments.
• Experience with SAP, Maximo, vendor coordination, RMAs, and shipping processes.
• Familiarity with calibration, metrology, ISO/IEC 17025, or other regulated environments.
