Senior Solutions Engineer - West

Location: Remote - US West; 50% travel required.

Pay: $182,600–$251,020 in Zone 3 for other US locations; geographic pay zones range up to $214,800–$295,350 in Zone 1.

What you will do

• Drive technical discovery, architecture design, and proof-of-concept implementation throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
• Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to develop technical value propositions.
• Deliver demonstrations, workshops, proposals, and RFP responses for C-level and technical stakeholders.
• Build customer trust, identify technical champions, and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Connect customer feedback with Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.
• Lead cross-regional initiatives, improve SE frameworks, manage technical environments, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a customer-facing systems architecture role.
• Experience with the SDLC, cloud architecture, or DevOps.
• Extensive cloud platform knowledge and expertise in at least one of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience leading and documenting proofs of concept and building technical and deal champions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and industry thought-leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with PII, PCI, or HIPAA security and compliance frameworks.
