What you will do

• Design electrical systems and PCBAs for robotic surgical platforms using analog, digital, and microcontroller circuitry.
• Build prototypes and perform electrical subsystem bring-up, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with PCB designers on circuit board layouts and documentation packages.
• Work with mechanical, software, and systems teams on hardware integration and issue resolution.
• Develop test fixtures and support verification and validation testing against system requirements.
• Apply design-for-manufacturability principles, support production transition, and contribute to design history file deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of product development experience, preferably with robotics or complex systems.
• Experience with PCB development, including schematics, layout, board building, debugging, and component selection.
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Familiarity with design for test, information analysis, and reporting results.
• Experience with schematic capture software; Altium is preferred.
