hirify.global is a defense startup developing autonomous robotic turrets that use computer vision and control systems to counter small drones and loitering munitions.

What you will do

  • Design electrical schematics, power circuits, embedded circuits, and PCB layouts for autonomous turret systems.
  • Develop real-time embedded software in C++ and Python for autonomous defense applications.
  • Simulate signal integrity, thermal behavior, and electromagnetic compatibility.
  • Integrate sensors, motors, actuators, and control hardware with mechanical and software systems.
  • Test, debug, and optimize electronics and embedded software in laboratory and field environments.
  • Document designs, simulations, validation results, and test protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with microcontroller-based control systems, power conversion, and motor drives.
  • Expertise in schematic design and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle.
  • Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE or ANSYS Electronics.
  • Strong embedded software experience in C++ and Python, including real-time and safety-critical systems.
  • Experience integrating electrical, mechanical, sensor, actuator, and control systems for robotics applications.

Nice to have

  • Thermal management expertise for high-power systems.
  • Embedded Linux, RTOS, or custom embedded kernel development experience.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, UART, and I2C communication protocols.
  • Experience optimizing low-latency embedded systems under power and computational constraints.
