What you will do
- Design electrical schematics, power circuits, embedded circuits, and PCB layouts for autonomous turret systems.
- Develop real-time embedded software in C++ and Python for autonomous defense applications.
- Simulate signal integrity, thermal behavior, and electromagnetic compatibility.
- Integrate sensors, motors, actuators, and control hardware with mechanical and software systems.
- Test, debug, and optimize electronics and embedded software in laboratory and field environments.
- Document designs, simulations, validation results, and test protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with microcontroller-based control systems, power conversion, and motor drives.
- Expertise in schematic design and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle.
- Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE or ANSYS Electronics.
- Strong embedded software experience in C++ and Python, including real-time and safety-critical systems.
- Experience integrating electrical, mechanical, sensor, actuator, and control systems for robotics applications.
Nice to have
- Thermal management expertise for high-power systems.
- Embedded Linux, RTOS, or custom embedded kernel development experience.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, UART, and I2C communication protocols.
- Experience optimizing low-latency embedded systems under power and computational constraints.
