Electrical Design Engineers

What you will do

• Design complex electrical systems covering power distribution, sensor integration, and motor drive systems.
• Own full-cycle PCB development, including schematics, component selection, multilayer layouts, and manufacturing files.
• Assemble, test, and debug electrical prototypes in the laboratory.
• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers on connectors, pinouts, and physical constraints.
• Develop product specifications and accelerated lifetime validation plans.
• Coordinate with PCB fabricators, component suppliers, and contract manufacturers on delivery and design for manufacturability.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of experience building complex electromechanical systems and sensors, or equivalent hard-tech project experience.
• Strong knowledge of DC-DC converters, EMI/EMC mitigation, and I2C, SPI, CAN bus, and UART protocols.
• Experience with hardware validation cycles, debugging, and measurement methods.
• Experience with wire harnesses, cabling, connectors, volume manufacturing processes, and contract manufacturers.
• Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto.
