Global Supply Chain Rotational Program, Volume Buyer I, New College Grad- Bachelor's (Austin, TX)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite role with 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $60,000–$73,500 per year

What you will do

• Issue RFQs, analyze proposals, negotiate prices, execute purchase orders, and support delivery for volume manufacturing.
• Develop procurement and commodity strategies balancing cost, quality, supplier reliability, and urgency.
• Resolve supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery, and lead time.
• Identify and present cost-reduction, capacity, sourcing, and lead-time improvement initiatives.
• Forecast engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements and communicate them to suppliers.
• Support outsourcing decisions through Make-versus-Buy analysis.

Requirements

• Commitment to completing the full 30-month rotational program, including rotations in Purchasing/Sourcing, Project/Program Management, and Supplier Account Management.
• Graduating with a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Good academic standing; a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and executive reports and presentations.
• Strong written, oral, quantitative, qualitative, listening, interpersonal, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, adapt to change, and maintain a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Nice to have

• Statistics, machine learning, data analytics, R, SAS, SQL, or Python skills.
