Senior Materials & Production Planner (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Lead and provide direction to a team of 1–3 planners.
• Analyze MRP-generated production requirements, determine build quantities, and issue work orders.
• Develop product line build plans and maintain the Master Production Schedule and Master Demand Schedule.
• Monitor production against plan and resolve scheduling and material constraints with manufacturing, purchasing, distribution, quality, and customer service.
• Expedite, reschedule, and revise material shipments while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Coordinate backlog reviews and support the implementation of Engineering Change Orders, including disposition of existing stock.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of materials or production planning experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of automated ERP functions, planning, bills of materials, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Oracle experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and collaborate cross-functionally.
