Joint Targeting Instructor / Operations Specialist

What you will do

• Deliver the Joint Targeting Staff course in classroom and virtual NIPR/SIPR Microsoft Teams LMS environments as part of a two-person instructor team.
• Provide instruction across the Joint Targeting Cycle, including target development, target system analysis, dynamic targeting, collateral damage estimation, capabilities analysis, combat assessment, and Space/Cyber/EMS targeting.
• Support curriculum development, revision, review boards, military targeting committees, doctrine conferences, and subject-matter-expert working groups.
• Maintain student demographic data, test scores, learning-objective certifications, and required pre- and post-class administration.
• Complete physical-security and intelligence-community security procedures and submit after-action reports within seven days of training events.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with Joint Targeting School standards.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance with NACLAC in scope within the last five years.
• Bachelor’s degree or at least four years of applicable experience.
• Demonstrated success in at least three relevant operational areas, including joint training, Joint Targeting Cycle expertise, adult training, military or national-level intelligence analysis, doctrine, briefing, and instructional systems design.
• At least four years of joint training experience and at least one year of adult training or equivalent education experience.
• Knowledge of collateral damage methodology, Joint and Service doctrine, combat support, Chairman’s Instructions/Manuals, and Joint Staff J7 procedures.
• Must be willing to sign a Contractor Visitor Group Security Agreement upon contract award.

Nice to have

• DoD Collateral Damage Estimation Qualification Course or Combat Assessment Course graduation.
• Joint Staff or Combatant Command targeting staff experience.
• Experience with NIPR/SIPR Microsoft Teams LMS, military LMS platforms, interactive web-based learning, blended learning, or SharePoint.
• Experience with JP 3-60, Joint Targeting, and associated CJCSI/CJCSM doctrine.
